Thuja Plicata: Western Red Cedar 

At the inception of Antrim Cedar Corporation a single Western Red Cedar seed was planted. This is a picture of that seed today. In another 10 years this tree could be harvested and a variety of products from siding, decking, boards, and dimension could be manufactured from this single seed planted some 29 years ago.
